Easy run?

I’m sitting here, watching my 17 month old daughter paint her face with bananas and sweet potatoes, hoping that some clouds roll in. It’s in the high 70’s, and while I have lost quite a bit of weight, I’m still not a big fan of running in the heat. Today is supposed to be an easier day(2-2.5 miles at a slower pace). We’ll see how “easy” it ends up being. If anyone is curious, my current schedule looks something like this:

Monday: Rest

Tuesday: 2-2.5 miles

Wednesday: Intervals, fartleks, or hills(I’m taking a hill break, for now)

Thursday: 2-2.5 miles

Friday: Rest

Saturday: 2 miles

Sunday: Long Run( I’m at 3.25 miles now, increasing by .25-.5 miles every 1-2 weeks)

When I can’t run, I usually try to do something else. Last week I tried a  Kettlebell workout for the first time since last Summer. I actually made it through the entire workout this time!
